The prompt era had only ChatGPT, with no memory, no tools and single turns.
The framework era ran on CrewAI, LangChain and AutoGen.
With coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode, Markdown files replaced DAGs.
Harness and runtime means DeepAgents, open models and open runtimes such as OpenShell.
