Agents are now first-class citizens of every service in tech

Key points
More and more services are being designed for agents, so an agent needs its own identity, scoped permissions and a trace of every step.
I made AWS Bedrock AgentCore our standard for running agents.
AgentCore provides identity, policy (permissions as rules), observability (a trace of every step), a runtime with session isolation, and short and long term memory out of the box.
AgentCore also provides a gateway that makes tools available to agents, a registry for skills and tools, evaluations, and a sandboxed browser and code interpreter.
